I am trying to find a way to play prerecorded announcements in time of the call.
The Media class provides method StartPlaying(List<(Of <<'(String>)>>), Boolean, Media..::..PlayRepeatInfo, Object).

From the documentation and Dashboard example I understood it is possible if the solution has Avaya Aura® Media Server.
My question is if it is possible to do without media server? Can DMCC API play local files from a client machine or third party recorder like Audiolog?

You will need a media server or a media gateway. However, this need not be AMS, for example, you could have a Gnnn media gateway.
