About AE Services Release 3.1.4

3.1.4 is not the latest AE Services Release.

About This Release

AE Services Release 3.1.4 contains AE Server and SDK enhancements for JTAPI and TSAPI-based services. These include:

• JTAPI and TSAPI Client/SDK enhancement for VDN Monitoring in Predictive Call scenarios
• Enhanced TSAPI Service Message
• New JTAPI Interface

Other available AE Services functions have not changed from earlier 3.1 releases, and previous SDKs should be used.

Installation Notes

You can upgrade any version of the AE Services server or client by overwriting the previous version with the current version.

• AE Services TSAPI, JTAPI, CVLAN Client and SDK installation
  
  If you are upgrading an AE Services TSAPI, JTAPI, or CVLAN 3.x client (which includes Avaya Computer Telephony R 1.3 clients or any AE Services client release between 3.1.1 and 3.1.4) refer to the Avaya MultiVantage Application Enablement Services TSAPI, JTAPI, and CVLAN Client and SDK Installation Guide, R 3.1.1,and follow the instructions specific to the client you are installing. You can upgrade any AE Services TSAPI, JTAPI, or CVLAN client by overwriting the previous version with the current version. (i.e., the installation program for 3.1.4 works the same as it does for previous releases).
• Software Only Server installations:
  
  If you are upgrading a previous version of AE Services Software-Only server software to 3.1.4, see the AE Services Installation and Upgrade Guide for your currently-installed release and follow the instructions for installing the software (i.e., run the install script -- /mnt/cdrom/install). The Install script for 3.1.4 works the same as the install script for prior releases.
