New In This Release

AE Services Release 3.1.5 comprises updated AE Server software (software-only and bundled options), updated TSAPI Client, and updated JTAPI SDK and Client. The release resolves issues from AE Services Release 3.1.4, including:

The JTAPI client no longer throws a "no connection id found!" TsapiPlatformException while processing a Conferenced event, Transferred event, or Single Step Conference Confirmation event.
The number of queries made by the JTAPI Client to Communication Manager has been reduced to improve performance.
TSAPI Spy now accurately reports whether or not an application has been notified
attSetAgentState() support has been extended in the TSAPI service.

Other AE Services SDKs and Clients have not been updated from earlier 3.1.x releases and should continue to be used.

Installation Notes

AE Services JTAPI and TSAPI Client and SDK installation
See Avaya MultiVantage Application Enablement Services TSAPI, JTAPI, and CVLAN Client and SDK Installation Guide, Release 3.1.0 for instructions on upgrading the JTAPI or TSAPI SDK and Client. You can upgrade any AE Services TSAPI or JTAPI SDK or Client by overwriting the previous version with the current version. The installation program for 3.1.5 works the same as it does for previous releases.

AE Services Software-only Server installation:
See the AE Services Installation Guide Software Only Offer R3.1.1 for instructions on upgrading the Software-only server option. The install script for 3.1.5 works in the same way as for previous releases.

AE Services Bundled Server installation:
See the AE Services Installation and Upgrade Guide for a Bundled Server R3.1.1 for instructions on upgrading the Bundled server option software. Note, however, that an additional step is required to create the default server web pages for AE Services:

Once the upgrade is complete and made permanent, issue the following command:
rpm -ivh --force /var/disk/rpms/mvap-tomcatconfig-3.1.750-6.noarch.rpm
