About This Tutorial

This tutorial takes readers through the steps involved for developing of a multilingual Dialog Designer (now known as Avaya Orchestration Designer) speech application. It covers all aspects of language and localization administration in Orchestration Designer, and provides a detailed description of the Orchestration Designer settings required to implement a multilingual speech application. In addition, the tutorial covers the process of installing and configuring Nuance OpenSpeech Recognizer, Nuance RealSpeak Text-to-Speech engines and Nuance MediaServer component. The steps involved in changing a language at run-time, using Orchestration Designer APIs and the application's call flow, are also discussed.
