Need to find out why the following recommendation for a separate server was made by Avaya:
Windows-based Server
"Prior to 3.0, one recommended setup option was to install Contact Center Express servers on the same hardware as the Avaya Telephony Server. For Contact Center Express 3.0 and all future Contact Center Express installations, we now recommend a separate server for Contact Center Express services. What's more, if you are running Interaction Data Service 3.0, that service requires its own additional server. "

Hi Shelby,

AES does not support coresident applications running on the platform. Additionally, AES runs on a windows platform whereas CCE is Windows based. You'll have to address the part about Interaction Data Service 3.0 to somebody in the contact center space.

Sorry, I had a typo in my response. AES is LINUX whereas CCS is Windows.

One more time: AES is LINUX whereas CCE is Windows.

Whew, think I got it right that time. ;-)
