Hi All,

I would like to know to real capacity of an AES release 4.
The custmer needs 9 CVLan connections on a Communication Manager 3.1.3.
How many CLan do I need between AES and CM ?
The documentation says 720 messages/second between CM ans AES and the capacity of a CLan to handle message is 200 messages/second.
I suppose that 3 CLan are sufficient, but in an Avaya test lab document I saw 4 CLan in the design.
An other question, how many switch connection maximum could I have from an AES to one CM ?

Hi Christian, the document is correct, you can have up to 200 messages per second on a CLAN. The test lab document you saw may have added an additional CLAN for robustness.

You can only have one switch connection between an AES and a CM but that logical switch connection can have up to 16 sockets to 16 different CLANs.
