hi,

Is it true that SIP extensions (in an avaya configuraiton with ses) will not work correctly with AES?

Hi Arik,

This is true for the moment, though it will be largely rectified with the upcoming AES / CM 4.1 release. This release will enable most AES functionality (e.g. call control, adjunct routing, etc) to work with SIP stations. The exceptions will be DMCC shared control / media, and device control.

From day one, it has been possible to engage a DMCC H.323 virtual softphone in a telephone call with a SIP extension and play / record media with that phone.
