We're planning a CTI Application that will use the Universal Call Id (UCID) as the key to a database table with information on a call. The application will also need access to ANI, DNIS and likely UUI.

This would seem to indicate that we should use TSAPI. Do you agree?

Does the AES simulator generate and handle UCIDs?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

All of this information is available either via TSAPI or JTAPI. You could use either of them depending on your language / platform of preference.

I'm pretty sure that the simulator will work with UCID just fine. I'll confirm that and get back to you.

I just confirmed that UCID should work just fine with the simulator.

By the way, I should mention that TSAPI and JTAPI are not currently officially supported on the forums. I was able to answer this question pretty easily, so I responded. It's very likely that more detailed questions would be referred to the "Request Technical Support" link.

Thanks.

I visited it and was quite surprised to find the Avaya Cup contest. What a neat idea!

Can you tell me what support costs? (Just for planning purposes).

The cost for support for registered members is $250 / hour.
