Does the BDE support playing wav files on a call via DMCC? I know the BDE description says that announcements aren't supported and I wasn't sure if that was the same thing. Also the description doesn't mention anything about DTMF detection so I assume that is supported?

THE BDE does not contain any media processing capabilities. Therefore any functions that rely on these will not work (eg. conferencing, announcements).

It is still possible to get audio if two phones are directly IP connected (aka shuffling). So, if one DMCC phone is used to send RTP from a Wav file to another phone, assuming they are directly connected, this should work.

DTMF can be sent via signalling rather than audio so this can also be possible. I think this is the default configuration.
