Hi,

Is there any API provided by avaya to access the sip session details from avaya session manager. eg. the call id

I have not heard of any Avaya API that allows you access to the SIP headers, but I can only speak to the AE Services interfaces on this forum. AE Services does provide 3rd party call control support for certain Avaya SIP endpoints, but this does not give you access to the SIP headers. Each call in AES is given a call ID, but it isn't correlated to the one you would find in the Call ID SIP header.

Thanks for the response. Is there any forum which can give me some hint in identifying this.any forum where session manger related topics are discussed.

Also does the 3rd party call control calls have any unique id which would also be available in SIP calls as well. either in their head or body

There are forums on the Avaya Support website. I just looked there and it looks like you have already posted your question.

3rd party calls use a universal call ID (UCID) that is unique.
