We have two AES installations in our network:
- AES 4.2.x with a set of required TSAPI licenses (our custom DMCC application works fine with it)
- AES 6.2.x with no licenses (our application refuses to register device with subscribed resource availability error)

However I need to use the new server.

Can I transfer licenses from the old server to the new one, or at least make licenses from the old server
available in our AES 6.2.x (by adding WebLM server in new AES)?

The licenses are tied to the MAC address of the WebLM server. Therefore, you cannot move licenses to the new server.

There are some other possibilities:

1. If you procured the new AE Services from Devconnect for lab use, you can open a ticket and request licenses.

2. I am not 100% sure if v4 licenses can be used with a v6 AE Services but assuming they are, you can configure the new AE Services to use the WebLM on the old AE Services. That way, both will share licenses.

3. If this is a production environment, you should contact your Business Partner for advice.
