Apologies if this has been answered before; checked around the forums and google and wasn't able to find a definitive answer.

We're upgrading our systems from AEP6x to 7.0.1. We have to do a fresh install of the Avaya Linux OS in addition to the software upgrade. With that in mind - Is there ANY way to retain the application settings and perhaps import them back after the upgrade is done? If so, is this documented somewhere that I might be able to review?

We have over 30 applications installed with several DNIS' attached to each, and three instances of voice portal that we'll have to do this on. the number of time it will take to add all of the configuration back in is too damn high. :)

Thoughts?

Sounds like this is a about backing up VP/EP or VPMS/EPMS. You would need to talk to Avaya support since we don't have the expertise to help you on straight platform issue.
