We have developed a call recording solution that works beautifully with TDM telephony environments but now want to record IP calls on the ipoffice

We have done this for other PBX's but are struggling with IP Office. We have captured calls using WireShark and are trying to find where the extension number is stored in the H 323 stream. Does it require a parameter setting to make it appear?

We want to record by extension as only 40 extensions out of 120 need recording. We can monitor the IP address of each handset but that can be problematic if IP addresses change.

Any assistance/advise would be greatly appreciated.

At present DevConnect does not provide free technical assistance with IP Office.

All I can do is suggest you review the IP Office User Document related to TAPI and the TAPI Wave driver which is the recommended methodology for performing call recording on IP Office. You might also investigate the DevLink interface described in the same documentation. The IP Office documentation is provided through www.avaya.com/support to individuals who have a "Sold To" number (have purchased an IP Office system).
