Hello all,
I have a live collaboratory lab.
The Avaya media server is raising a critical alarm with the following description:
Alarm Id: 334 Severity: Critical Component: IVR Media Processor
Date & Time: (MDT)2015-06-08 00:30:43
Description: MRCP Resource Failed (IvrMP)
Probable Cause: One or more MRCP resources have failed health checks.
Corrective Action: This alarm will clear when all unlocked MRCP resources respond to regular health checks. The failing resources are identified in the application log. Restore proper functionality of these resources, or, deactivate or remove them from their pool.

I do not have access to Avaya media server logs. When I try to access /opt/avaya/app/amsinst it says permission denied. I cannot hear the media which is uploaded in the content store and played when the call is answered. When there was no such alarm in the server, I could hear the media. In the pool, I have added speech synthesizer and recogniser servers that came preconfigured. I also restarted the server but to no avail.
What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Heena

Hi Heena,

We are having issues with the MRCP server (which is our nuance for tts) for Lab002 and hence the error.
We hope to get this fixed asap.

However i just tested the play annc from EDPTester (which is already preloaded in the lab)
and i was able to hear the media.
