We have a question I hope you can help me...

Is it possible that the Agent, before logs into EMC Desktop, provide their Agent Login and Station, in order to modify the configuration of EMC Desktop application?

The problem is because we use local .ini configuration, but Customer ask if it is possible that Agents could changes their PCs to another PCs dinamically...

I built a launcher that asks the information and then updates the .ini file with the information it collects. You could do that and update the sql server information that is assigned to the agent. We tie configuration to the user's id and not station name because we are using RDS and can have multiple agents to one RDS server. Once it collects the information it launches emc with the correct info.

Regarding the option you told me, you are talking about a simple ".bat" that changes the .ini information about Agent, and after that just launch the EMC Desktop with the .ini already modified????
