does Breeze support Java 1.8 and what are the requires steps to migrate an existing Breeze instance to Java 1.8?

Unfortunately, Breeze doesn't currently support Java 1.8. We anticipate (but can't currently commit) that we'll support 1.8 sometime in 2017.
