I am looking for a solution for supplying triggering event to start event using REST. As the document AvayaEngagementDesignerGuide suggests we can use REST to trigger start event in WFD. Please guide me on this topic. I am not aware of supplying REST details for this start event in WFD.

Hi, its possible to invoke the wfd using a REST interface , but using eventing and not directly since its sso enabled.

some steps you can follow,
1) create an event in event catalog tab on admin console of EngagementDesigner
2) Create your wfd with start event having this event selected and deploy it .
3) Now you can publish the event that you created using REST or Java using SDK

4) After publishing this event, your wfd instance should be created.
