This might not be the right forum for this question but I figured I'd throw it out there.

At one of our customer locations we have the following call flow:

VoIP/Digital Phone --> Local Media Gateway --> Remote Media Gateway

Where the arrows represent call signalling (H.323) as well as RTP. We are
capturing the traffic on the remote gateway and we somehow need to determine
which extension an RTP stream between the two gateways belongs to. Is there a
way to do this using any of the SDKs or by analyzing the H.323 traffic?

DMCC is the preferred method for call recording. Anything else will probably be difficult.

The only place that I have ever seen the IP address of an extension is in the SAT command "status station". Normally, I would suggest using the SMS API to access information provided by SAT. However, as far as I know, the SMS does not support "status".

It may be possible for you to screen-scrape the SAT screens but it is not a supported method.
