Quick Question:
Is there any limitation of speaking the Ordinal in Orchestration Designer.
OD app . We're speaking a number as an ordinal 1 = first 2 = second 3 = third ... it works for 1 through 31. Fails from 32 upward.
Don't have the OD version at the moment.

Are you using TTS or a language package?

I looked at the US english language package. My guess is the ordinals stopped at 31 since that is the maximum number of days in a month and that is typically where ordinals are used ( like January twenty first ).

As I mentioned the ordinals are part of speaking days of the month. A general speaking an ordinal for any number is not supported in the langiage packs. However you can build your own langaige that supports this.

Never mind. I just observed the source code for the customer of concern and found that the play back of ordinals is custom code. OD entirely lacks the ability to speak ordinals, it is not an included capability of the product. We will fix the application defect by extending the custom code. Nothing to fix in OD, the feature doesn't exist at all. That explains why I couldn't find anything in the developer guide, it simply doesn't exist.
