Hi,

Is it possible to send an alarm to EPM if web service returned and error? We want to be able to receive an email alert if there is any error/issue with web service.

See this https://www.devconnectprogram.com/forums/posts/list/21847.page

Yes you will have to configure that on the EPM. Check the online documentation (EP) for how to do this.

Hi Ross,

Tried to use alarm report but I don't see the alarm log to EPM. See below part of the report log

20/02/2018 15:47:53:145 ERROR - In Progress | session id:pdc-aep-mpp-2018051204748-13 | Test_AAEP_ALARM:WS1 | | org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Server was unable to process request. ---> <SystemError errorcode="12"><![CDATA[

The alarm only goes to the platform when the platform is Experience Portal and not Desktop. The log click you posted is from the local report log. Also report data is "batched" when sent to the EPM. For testing try ?batchsize=1 on the App start url to force the writing of data.

In the Report Alarm, do I need define variable?

That is just an option to also log the contents of a variable with the report item.
