Hi,

We need to connect our telephone switchboard IP Office and listen when a call is incoming, outcoming or lost.

The console application must listen the events of the switchboard and get number, action (incoming, outcoming, lost)... But I don't have idea how to connect the application to telephone switchboard and listen the events.

Please, can you tell us which SDK we must use? Where can we see any samples?

The application will be in .NET (C# or VB samples are welcome)

Thanks.

Is the telephone 'switchboard' a third party application, an application that comes with IP Office or ??

The most likely integration point is to use TAPI or IP Office's Centralized Web Service interface to monitor the extension (s) representing the telephone switchboard.

Centralized CTI Web Services API:
The IP Office Centralized CTI Web Services API offers an open platform for use by developers in creating applications that employ telephony features and other functionalities provided by IP Office such as Call Log, Directory, Instant Messaging, Presence and Voicemail services. The API is supported for use in a distributed IP Office environment and is not limited to use on a nodal basis, as is the current TAPI SDK. This new API has a dependency on Avaya one-X Portal, thus users will require access to the one-X Portal application. The existing license for CTI Pro is used to enable the capability on IP Office Release 10.1.

https://www.devconnectprogram.com/site/global/products_resources/ip_office/releases/10_1/index.gsp
click on download tab
and then on Centralized CTI Web Service
and review the information available at the bottom of the page.

Also click on
TAPI DevLink3 and DevLink
and review the information available at the bottom of the page.

The sample code that is available is embedded in the SDK download.

One other thing. This web forum is not intended for IP Office related queries. DevConnect does not host a forum related to the IP Office product. For future queries I suggest using the general IP Office forum hosted as part of www.avaya.com/support (at the bottom of the page click Support forums, then select "Small and Medium Business Communications" )

https://support.avaya.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6

or becoming a support enabled DevConnect member and requesting technical support via the DevConnect portal
