To whom it may concern.

I am trying to connect the sample which comes from Real-time Data API of AACC with my AACC lab. During the authentication task I am obtaining the error 60001 NIrtd_eSERVER Invalid server ID passed. How could I overcome this issue? Any idea?

Thank you,

Hi,
I'm facing the same issue. Do you have any firewalls between your client and the RTD? I have the feeling that either the IP provided as CLAN is wrong or that a firewall blocks the communication.
Thank you in advance!

This can happen when mixing the ANSI or Unicode version compilation options because the server name in the initial handshake is mis-encoded. I would try switching from one to the other to be sure. And make sure that you use the server name and not the IP and that it is resolvable. Firewalls can also be an issue. We should have an FAQ on that (I think); basically, make sure that the AACC trusts connections from the client and that the client trusts all connections from the server (and that no intermediary firewalls are changing that policy, of course).
