I was wondering what official version of Websphere does the Breeze 3.4 platform run on?

In particular, I'm working on an app that will be making use of JSR-356 (Websockets), and in the past I've had to make use of Tyrus in order for websockets to work in Breeze (well, the last time I tried, it was still EDP). I know if I load the Tyrus jars on a Websphere 9 instance, bad things happen.

Thanks!

Hi Nick. We're on WAS AS 8.5.5.10. We were hoping to be able to upgrade to WAS 9.0 in our 3.5 release, but had to back it out due to performance issues. That would have allowed us to bring in native support for Websockets to the platform. As of now, it looks like you can keep using your workaround.

One word of caution: I'm told that IBM may not provide support for any issues encountered when using a third-party websocket library such as Tyrus. This will unfortunately be a "use at your own risk" thing.
