Hi,
I was asked to investigate on Server Side System Manager API. I looked into the Download section, but it only offers "Routing Web Services API" and the client SDK.
Anyone knows if the server side API available for development? If so, where can I find it?

Your response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

System Manager offers two APIs, Routing and User Web Services. Neither sounds like "server side." I would ask the person who asked you to investigate for some more details about what functionality they think this API provides, and maybe we can figure out what they are referring to. The Routing and User web service documents are at these links:

They _may_ be talking about the Session Manager Element Manager Web Service: Here is a link to the SDK.

Hi John,
Thank you for your reply. I apologize for not coming back to you earlier.
It's the Endpoint the Client API talks to. The client API sends lookup, putUser, postUser etc requests to the Endpoint by submitting an xml. Thus an user gets updated, created, lookedup or deleted.
Client API<----->EndPoint<------->Database
The customer is looking to develop the Endpoint that talks to the database.
I appreciate your answer!

Hard to be sure but it sounds like you are talking about the System Manager User Web Services

I would describe that Web Service by saying an application can modify information associated with a user which includes the configuration/provisioning of the station and extension that the user utilizes.

No, this is the Client API. I'm looking for the actual Endpoint that talks to the database. Never mind. Thanks!

I wish Avaya named things more clearly. Perhaps you could provide some web reference to what you are talking about and I might get on the same page as you. If you want to drop it, that is fine with me as well.
