Is there any way without custom programming to have the Transfer/Conference and Dial buttons also on the HOME TAB on the Ribbon control ?

Afraid no.. not supported at the moment.
What is the use case here ? Why is Voice tab not useful ? It should switch to Voice tab as soon as a voice call tab is made active ..

The voice tab is very useful.

The Use case is when having an External Application (Customer CRM) then that tab becomes active on incoming call.

When customer wants to transfer that call he has to move to the voice tab and that is a little frustrating.

Unfortunately not possible out of box currently.. But let me see what can be done.

Another thing that my customer has issue with is when wanting to transfer a call via Directory he has
to be on the Voice MdiTab which is frustrating also.
