Hello there.

We are trying to create a dialer application in C# using MakePredictiveCall() with DMCC.
Everything is working fine. The application makes the outbound call, the customer picks up the call and an agent receives an inbound call on a skill that we have set up especially for these tests.
The only thing we are missing is the ability to distinguish when our outbound call gets picked up by an answering machine, by a service provider voicemail box or even a fax machine.
Is there any way we can do that?
Could someone please point us to any documentation regarding this matter?

The keywords you are looking for are "Call Classification" along with "Special Information Tones" and "SIT Treatment"

The places to look are in the TSAPI Programmer's Guid documentation, and in Communication Manager Feature Description and Provisioning documentation. I believe there are more details in the ASAI Programmer's Reference Guide.

I am in a bit of a jam time wize, but if you do some googling you will find documentation covering these topics for the releases you are working with (it hasn't changed in many releases so pretty much anything from Communication Manager release 3 onwards would be applicable).
