Is it possible (and how) to have a call to a VDN (call is coming form a SBC) to trigger a workflow in ED? We have a workflow which works if we call the stations, but we want to trigger a workflow based on the the VDN dialed by the customer.

Hi Gerd, do you want for your workflow to be triggered before the call arrives at the VDN or after. Hopefully the answer is before, because in that case this should work fine. You can devine an Implicit User pattern for session manager to cause the call to be sent to Breeze, then define the same pattern in Breeze admin associated with a service profile that includes ED.

If you wanted it triggered after the VDN, that is more difficult. You'd have to route the call to a number associated with Breeze then route the call back to a number on CM. This would increase trunk usage on CM and would split the CM call into two separate calls.
