I have a Jtapi application that picks up an extension and dials out to another number. This works when the extension is a physical phone (either SIP or H.323) but gives me a CSTA Error 1 when I try to use Avaya OneX software. Why will this not work?

Are you able to make the call when the physical phone is logged into the same station ID as you use for the softphone?

What softphone are you using? One-X Communicator?

Yes, if you use the same station ID with the physical phone it works. I am using One-X Communicator.

I can't think of any reason why this would be happening and I do not think it would be possible to investigate properly via the forum.
