Could you please explain me the idea of DTMF input buffer.

We have an application with prompt which is quite long. During listening user can press dtmf button.
Several nodes later - we have prompt&collect node (without prompt itself) where we expecting DTMF input.

So, when the call arrives and client starts to listen long prompt - client can press the DTMF button. Next we reaches prompt&collect node and expecting that pressed DTMF with be read from buffer but nothing happens => call goes to no input part and after several processing steps goes back to the same long prompt. Now client clicks again a button. BUT not when we reach prompt&collect node - it reads pressed button without any problem.

Can you please explain why prompt&collect node did not read the pressed button in the first time?

Is there any way how to clean the input buffer?

I think type-ahead only works during the execution of the prompt/collection node.
