Hello,

We are using an outbound dialing application that uses LaunchVXML web services of AVP 5.1 to initiate outbound calls.

And we are seeing the error "LaunchVXMLFault: rc = 518, AppIntfWSSOAPImpl::launchVXML() MPP Outcall Web Service returned CALL DISCONNECTED BEFORE APP STARTED. MPP = AVAYA-VP, rc = 8212" for some of the calls.

I tried to find documentation about this error in the Avaya Voice Portal documentation, but couldn't find this particular reason code 518 or this error message.

Could someone please help by providing more details about this error?

... this is generated when in trying to perform a LaunchVXML the following happens:
• the outcall is placed to the specified number
• the call is answered
• the MPP attempts to start the application – but before this can complete the call is ended.
