We'd like to get the version of Avaya Media Server using the command line SOAP or REST API.

We understand the version is available using Element Manager. However we need to inventory all our Media Servers and display within a dashboard.

I do not think that AMS has an API that you can use for this. Also, Communication Manager does not report a version for Media Servers so you cannot use the SAT API.

I suggest you consider using SNMP and query the version from the MIB on each AMS.
