Hi Guys, I've been working with the JTAPI library and I want to be able to restrict the access to the hard phones using it, is it any way to do this?

Basically our use case is the following:

We would like to force the users to log in to our portal before login into the Avaya Hard Phones, we have been exploring some options without success, do you know if there is a way to accomplish this using the JTAPI library?

I do not think there is any way to do this using JTAPI.

It may be possible to use the System Management Service (SMS) web service to control the phone's configuration. For example, when the user logs out of your portal, the portal alters the station's Security Code to some unknown value. When the agent logs back into the portal, the portal changes the security code back to the known value. However, I do not know how well this would work in practice.
