I’m using Avaya IP Office CTI Web Services for call control. I can answer, hangup, and do a consultation call. When I try to put a call on hold or do a SingleStepTransferCall, I get an INVALID_INPUT_XML_DATA error. The XML validates. I’ve cut-and-pasted examples in the Avaya manual and they get the same error. I’ve tweaked the XML but always get this error. It’s as if the API gets no further than the HoldCall and SingleStepTransferCall tags. Are these features still available? Besides the CTI Web Services manual, are there examples of working XML request payloads?
