We're previously upgraded to Avaya CM 8.1.2 and AES 8.1.2

Before the upgrade we were able to receive user entered code from the call flow and display it in our SDK Client. After the upgrade the digits are no longer passed in the CTI data.

Below the scenario used:

VDN 1 with collect 9 digits, wait-time and then route to VDN 2.
VDN 2 announcement, queue-to skill X and wait-time
Station with Agent accepting the call for skill X

The station is monitored in the DMCC Dashboard but in the Events we only see empty or undefined.

-------- User Entered Code Start
Collect VDN:
Data:
User Entered Code Type: Undefined
User Entered Code Indicator: Undefined
-------- User Entered Code End

Hi Stefan,

In order for an application to receive UEC, the VDN (VDN 2) must also be monitored. See the following FAQ for more information: https://www.devconnectprogram.com/site/global/products_resources/avaya_aura_application_enablement_services/support/faq/tsapi/basic_call_control.gsp#40

Hi Martin,

that solved the issue. We still had an old Avaya EMC running that was monitoring the VDN. This one was shut down. After monitoring the VDN with our service it works again.

Many thanks for your quick help
Stefan
