Call comes to a VDN from where it is routed to a skill and then to an agent.
How can I get the VDN number from where the call came?

It should be in the Called Number in the Delivered and Established events.

for aes/tsapi or dmcc, when we check agent status, looks like we need switchname, is there a way for us to query switchanme?

The application must be configured with the switchname. It is the name of the Switch Connection configured on AE Services for the link to Communication Manager.
