All,
we have an issue within a customer installation where the Mediaserver / Webgateway is not sending a ringback when we are dialing another extension.

Within the Optim Trunk between CM and ASM the value "Initial Ip-IP Direct Media" is enabled.
As soon as we disable this option we are getting a ringback.

Does the AAWG support Early Media?

Hi Dirk,

There are two way to play ringback tone on AAWG:
1. Disable “Initial Ip-IP Direct Media” on CM. Thus, CM will do early media and ringback will be played by the CM’s media server.
2. Client app should download ringback.wav from AAWG and simply play this audio file (no early media involved).

AAWG cannot do early media on its own. It can only work with the CM’s early media.
