Hi,

Can we use Orchestration Designer 7.0 and Experience portal 7.0 with AES 8.1?

If not, is it enough to upgrade OD from 7.0 to 7.2.3 or EP also should be upgraded?

Hi.

Basing on the Avaya Compatibility Matrix, AES 8.1 is supported by OD 7.2.3 only: https://secureservices.avaya.com/compatibility-matrix/menus/product.xhtml?name=Avaya+Aura+Orchestration+Designer&solution=false&version=7.2.3

while EP 7.2.x support AES 8.1: https://secureservices.avaya.com/compatibility-matrix/menus/product.xhtml?name=Avaya+Aura+Experience+Portal&solution=false&version=7.2

so you should upgrade both (at least OD 7.2.3 - EP 7.2). You can also update both to 7.2.3. It's suggested to use the same Tomcat release on OD and EP.

Can you give me examples of known issues, why EP 7.0 would not work with AES 8.1 and should be upgraded?

I can only tell you what the product team has posted as supported product compatibilities and they are not listing 7.0 as compatible with AES 8.1. It may not have been tested, or there may be incompatibilities, we don't have access to that level of detailed information.
