Our Customer is using the POM 3.1.2 with PostgreSQL 9.6.16.
In this case, PostgreSQL 9.6.16 is going to move it to EoL on November 11, 2021.
After reached EoL, can Avaya still support the PostgreSQL 9.6.16 for POM 3.1.2?

Of cause Customer is going to upgrade DB to ver 10 or 13(Latest) in near future.
And until done it, Avaya or BPE/Customer found any DB related issue, BPE will upgrade DB as soon as possibe.
In this case, How do they consider the compatibilities between POM version and DB(PostgreSQL) version?

If AVAYA has any compatibilities information between POM version and all of supported DB(Oracle, Microsoft SQL server databases) version, please advise for us for future plan as well ?

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

I understood your explanation.

By the way, please advise below points.
----
POM 3.1.3 COMPATIBLE RELEASES
PostgreSQL
9.11.x
9.4.x
9.6.x
----

Q1) What is TPostgreSQL9.11.x? Is it special version for AVAYA products(POM, EP, etc,..)
So, there are compatible version for PostgreSQL9.11.x with POM3.1.3 as above.
However there is no 9.11.x information in postgresql.org.

Q2) Does AVAYA has plan to support the PostgreSQL9.11.x for POM3.x(3.1.2 or 3.1.3 or future version of 3.x)?
Because AVAYA doesn't release EO(M)S for POM3.x now.
It is very helpful to use POM3.x using customer.

It seems that the 9.11.x may just be a typo on the Compatibility Matrix.
I've reached out to Avaya and if it is, they will update the support.avaya.com Matrix website to reflect the correct versions supported.
Meaning it looks like it may be possible that POM 3.1.3 will support Postgres 11.x but we won't know for sure until the Matrix is updated.
