Hello.

When installing OD 8.1.0 for the first time, after setting up Tomcat 9.0.39 and Java 1.9, I need to import some projects from OD 7.2.3 (using Tomcat 8.5 and Java 1.8). Is it recommended to import the runtimeconfig .war and runtimeconfig.zip files from OD 7.2.3 and deploy them on Tomcat 9.0.39 (as I do on AEP)?

If you are talking about upgrading to 8.1, you would import the projects into the 8.1 environment first. When you are ready to deploy the apps for live calls, you would set up the app server by first exporting the common runtime lib and runtimeconfig.war from the 8.1 environment.
