Hello

I am looking for OD eclipse which supports java 11, On OD 7.X, not able to add Java 11, not sure why it is not able show java 11 as compiler level even after adding jre for java 11.

Can you please help how I can I upgrade OD 7.X for java 11?

OR let me know how can I have OD 8.x which supports java 11.

Any help will be appritiated.

Hi. I tested the AAOD 7.2.3 (currently 'end of support') today with the Java 11 and I can confirm the compiler level 11 is not present.

I suggest to install the AOD 8.1.2 (latest release). The Avaya Compatibility Matrix for 8.1.2 (https://secureservices.avaya.com/compatibility-matrix/menus/product.xhtml?name=Avaya+Orchestration+Designer&solution=false&version=8.1.2#OracleJava ) says
OpenJDK 10 11 12
Oracle Java 8 9 10 11

As you suggest to use AOD 8.2.1. Can you please confirm that AOD 8.2.1 supports Avaya Experience Portal 7.2.3 ?

The AOD 8.1.2 Release Notes states on page 9 ( https://download.avaya.com/css/secure/documents/101083450 ):

"Runtime Environment:
Avaya Aura® Experience Portal 7.0, Avaya Aura® Experience Portal 7.1, Avaya Aura® Experience Portal 7.2, Avaya Experience Portal 8.0"

so the AOD 8.1.2 should work with the AAEP 7.2.3, anyway the best practice is to to also update the Experience Portal /align both the AOD and the Experience Portal to at least the same main version.

The Avaya Compatibility Matrix says the AOD 8.1.2 was successfully tested in the lab with the AEP 8.1.2:

As I said on the previous post (feel free to check the documentation, I put all useful links), the AOD 8.1.2 should work with the AAEP 7.2.3. Anyway, the AAEP 7.2.3 is 'End of support' since December 8th 2021 (this is why I suggested to move both the AOD and the AEP to release 8.x, latest is 8.1.2): https://www.devconnectprogram.com/site/global/products_resources/avaya_aura_experience_portal/releases/7_2/index.gs

I see on your post "For some reason, I am not able to use AEP 8.1 ". In case of any problem you can open a ticket with Devconnect (no forum for the AAEP/AEP) but we can just suggest, if possible, some workaround.
