Hi,
I run DMCC Dashboard 5.2. Those steps run successfully:
1. Start Application Session
2. get Dev ID
3. Start Monitors
But when I run register Terminal it show error as following:

Outgoing XML 14
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<mediaMode>NONE</mediaMode>
<dependencyMode>MAIN</dependencyMode>
</loginInfo>
</RegisterTerminalRequest>

</device>

The number of registered stations exceeded the capacity specified on the license file.</reason>
</RegisterTerminalResponse>

I see that this error is The number of registered stations exceeded the capacity specified on the license file. I have two question:
1. What does it mean?
2 How to increase the number of registered station on the license file?
Tks and Rgds.

1) nothing is free... For DMCC The system checks to see if you have licensed capacity when you do a registerTerminal request. If there is insufficient licenses, then the request is blocked. You can check the license capacity of a server by logging in to the AE Services Web OA&M interface, and selecting Licensing and then Access WebLM. The username will be admin, the password you will have to find out from whoever maintains that AE Services system. Once on the resulting page you can see what DMCC_DMC capacity is available. On some systems the licensed capacity is actually controlled by Communication Manager through the IP_API_A license that is observed using the 'display sys cust" form on the next to the last page. There are FAQs on this topic if you search for DMCC_DMC and IP_API_A.

2) If the system was purchased through devconnect, then you can enter a technical support request to have the capacity increased. If the system was purchased from a business partner, or Avaya direct sales, then you should go back to your sales representative to purchase additional license capacity for the system.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. I have an question: How much does an license of DMCC capacity cost?
For JTAPI I have similar questions. Can I post it here or I have to add a new topic in JTAPI forum?

The actual price for a license varies by a number of factors
1) how many you are purchasing at one time
2) whether or not any discounts can be applied.
3) If you are purchasing duplication licensing along with regular licensing.
4) Sometimes the price varies by what release you are working with
5) Depending on what services you are using you may need additional licenses
6) Depending on what licensing you have on Communication Manager (station related), you may need additional station licensing.

Thus the answer is best answered by an Avaya or Business Partner sales representative.
