I have a customer implementing multimedia for emails and faxes who needs to be able to add Custom Field data which is stored with the Contact ID in the cache database rather than the Customer ID. The Customer ID generated with each email is based on the inbound email address of each and is overwritten in the database if the email is second hand. AAAD shows Contact greyed out when they select Custom Fields. Is it possible to change AAAD in order to select Contact rather than Customer? Options under Custom Fields in an open email contact are Customer, Contact, Intrinsics. Customer shows the custom fields, Contact is blank and Intrinsics are not editable. If the custom fields were linked to the contact then each contact would be unique which is what the customer wants.

Hello,
You would need to log a DevConnect ticket to get more detail, but I think you could use Open Q web services to create a contact (email) and specify the intrinsics when creating the contact.
