Subject: Accessing ccxml scripts from the MPP filesystem

What's best practice regarding the use of a simple ccxml script in Experience Portal?

The application configuration page implies a ccxml file has to be delivered via HTTP yet there is a local default.ccxml used by the MPP. Is it possible to reference a locally stored ccxml file without installing a web server?
