Hi

We have setup a lab and I need to create a TSPAI connection between the OD and AES.I I have noticed I don't have the user management menu in the list. I have security but I believe those users are different than CTI users.

What do i have to look under our license or is there problem with application for user management to be available .

Thank you,

Do you mean that the "User Management" menu is completely missing from the AE Services web interface?

Are you logging in as craft?

Did you install your AE Services or upgrade it? How did you install it?

As far as I know, if you can see the Security menu, you should also be able to see the User Management menu.

Yes I do see it missing and login to web interface using admin:

https://<aes-ip>/aesvcs

Application Enablement Services
Management Console

Welcome: User admin
Last login: Mon Sep 30 13:01:54 2013 from <ip>
Server Offer Type: VIRTUAL_APPLIANCE
SW Version: r6-1-0-20-0

I do see in the welcome page it does mention user management. But I don't see it in the menu.

It will expire in 2 weeks. So If it is license issue. We can request a new license. What could be the cause of menu missing issue.

There is no user called admin on my AE Services. If you got the AE Services from Devconnect, there should be a user called craft, password craft01. Try that.

I don't think licensing should be an issue here.

perfect that worked. Just one question where usernames are managed. under security I don't see user admin or craft. However I can login using both.

The Security Database is used to control which CTI users can control which devices. I am sure it is described in the AE Services Overview document.
