Hi Glen,
Thank you very much for your comments and advices.
They help me to decide what and how I should answer him.
Honestly speaking, I hesitated to suggest Event SDK since it makes me image Proactive Contact’s CORBA-based one; it sounds tricky for me.
I wonder if he can build an application with Event SDK and/or Call Recording API in limited time and resources.
And, I wonder if we can support him when he is in trouble with them!
OK, I’ll talk to him.
I appreciate your support.

Glen,
Thank you very much for answering my question and detailed information.
Let me explain the background of the above question.
One customer wants to listen to the recorded conversation between an agent and an end user by clicking the link on his/her own CRM system.
The BP for the customer asks us how to get UCID of each attempt to associate the one that ACRA has.
He has already verified that UCIDs on Campaign Detailed reports and ACRA’s are the same, but he said downloading the reports is not systematic.
I recommended him to read exported CSV files regularly, but such a file-based batch process might not be applicable for customer’s environment (I don’t know the detail).
So, I’m focusing on Custom Class for Post Processing.
As I asked, UCID is not in the class 'PomAttemptInfo' and its definition on page 395 on ‘Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Developer Guide’ ends without right parenthesis unnaturally.
That makes me expect there are some hidden items including UCID.
Changing the question, are there any undocumented items in 'PomAttemptInfo'?
If no, I’ll let him know Event SDK.
Lastly, agent login ID is not required in this case. It’s just a preparation when someone asks in the future.
I’ll apologize if it confused you.
Regards,

Dear experts,
In my understanding, Custom Class for Post Processing of Jobs is for customizing processes after contact attempts instead of writing results of each attempt into CSV files.
Is that correct?
If so, how can the custom class get UCID and agent login ID for each contact?
The reason why I’m asking is that the class 'PomAttemptInfo' does not include either ucid or agent login as page 394-395 on ‘ Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Developer Guide’ shows.
Refer to https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101073116.
Any idea/comment would be appreciated.
Regards,
Yoshihiko

One of our partners is wondering if BotConnector Snap-in can process multi-byte languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean.
In my guess, BotConnector Snap-in passes through texts to Chat Engines, so it does not care single byte or multi bytes.
Is the above my guess correct?
If not, which languages are supported by BotConnector?

» Can CTI applications run with AESConnector on separeate instance?, 19/11/2019 05:35:37

One WebSphere customer asks us the following:
Can OD applications which use CTI work with AESConnector installed on separate instance?
Assume that AESConnector is installed and running on instance-C only (see the attached).
Can OD applications using CTI on instance where AESConnector is not running (such as OD Application-A and Application-B) work?
I think it is OK by checking ‘Communicate to the AESC using localhost <port> (recommended when using load balancing)’ and specifying port number of 'Avaya AES Connector' on 'Pluggable Connectors' tab.
Is that correct?

» How can ACCS agent know how long callers wait until , 17/09/2019 04:19:10

Dear experts,
Is there any way to show an agent how long a caller waits until he/she can talk to the agent (or how long the call is in queue)?
The ideal thing is that Agent Desktop shows it, but developing an application might be acceptable.
Any advices would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi experts,
The table 'TSAPI Linux client and SDK' says that Linux Operating System 64-bit requires Linux Operating System v7.2 64-bit version on page 14 in 'Avaya Aura® Application Enablement Services TSAPI and CVLAN Client and SDK Installation Guide' ( https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101050429).
My colleague downloaded tsapi-client-linux-8.0.1-132.bin then he ran it on 64bit version of Red Hat Linux 7.2.
But he encountered the following messages:
Do you want to install the TSAPI Client RPM? [n]: y
Expected version of glibc rpm is not present on system. Please install 32-bit version of glibc rpm. You may use "yum install glibc.i686" command to install 32-bit glibc rpm.
It seems that TSAPI Client installer requires 32bit-based components.
Is TSAPI Client for Linux 7.2 really 64bit?
If not, where can we get 64bit version of TSAPI Client?
Thank you in advance.

Dear experts,
'Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services TSAPI and CVLAN Client and SDK Installation Guide'
( https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101050429) mentions that TSAPI Client SDK 8.0 is compatible with AES 7.0.x, 6.3.X and 5.2.X.
How about AES 7.1.X and 8.0.X?
Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid the error did not disappear even I got rid of all signs ('&', '%' and '=') from Message Body text.
As far as I tested with OD 7.2.1, the error disappeared only when Message Body
- begins with start tag and ends with end tag
- begins with 'JSON'

Hi Wilson,
Thank you for your response.
I'd like to make sure one thing -
does WSO object allow only XML and JSON in 'Message Body'?
