We are trying to use our network management system to monitor the Avaya Aura Media Server. First issue was we could not enable SNMP. We tried all the UI settings for SNMP configuration but we somehow cannot get any snmp browser to browse the AAMS.
So now we are looking for an alternative method to monitor things such as hardware resources, active calls and other numeric performance variables.
Are there any:
1) scripts that we can execute on AAMS CLI to produce the data?
2) any API that we can use collect system data? If so, can you please let us know where we can get more information about the specs.
Thanks,

Is there a way to monitor the service statuses and other application/channel status remotely?
We heard that AAM supports the same MIBs as CM but we couldn't have any luck with that. Can someone give us the exact MIBs to try.
Is there an API to AAM? Or maybe some some system scripts that we can execute on AAM terminal to collect the status information.
Thanks,

Thanks Martin.
Do you know any easy way to check any of the following:
- Service status for: TSAPI, DMCC, SMS, DLG
- License information (expiration date, licensed amount, current usage)
Thanks,

Good day,
We are trying to develop a tool to monitor our AEP and AESs and I was wondering what is the most efficient method to do that. Are there any APIs on these devices to monitor the system resources, number of calls and service statuses?
Thanks,

We would like to start monitoring the status of the following components on our AESs:
- TSAPI, DMCC, DLG, SMS service status (up/down)
- Licensing information (Feature/Expiry Date/Used Licenses/Total Licenses)
- CPU, Memory, Disk Space
- Application status (Application Name, State, Service)
- DMCC Connection Details (User, Application, number of devices)
Is there an API to collect this information periodically? If no, do you know of any other methods to access this information?
Thanks,
