In the upconing 7.2.1 release a bnch of bugs are being fixed in simulation. In preferences there is a setting for fetchtimeout maybe try that?

Yes.
I believe EP supports this notation, an audio tag with the following format:
<audio src="builtin://senddigit/1234" />
Also look in the propertis first page, Enable DTMF tones In prompts. If you enable this it will copy some wav files into your project.
From the online help Enable DTMF tone variables in prompts Check box to enable DTMF generation that copies DTMF audio tones into the project. It will enable "DTMF Tone" when using Phrase Variables in the Prompt Editor.
Look at the sample apps InBandPulseTone and DTMFToneMask

That file looks correct. You could try removing
# Console
log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss:SSS} %5p - %m%n
and see what happens. Restart the server.

Simulation or Platform or both? I would have expected that to work. You will probably have to look at the sessionslot log on the MPP to determine what is happening and why.

File should look like
# log4j.rootLogger=error, stdout
log4j.logger.Dialog.Designer.TraceWriter.CHCHHSC= debug, TCHCHHSC
log4j.logger.Dialog.Designer.ReportWriter.CHCHHSC= debug, RCHCHHSC
# Console
log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
. . .

put a # in from of the first line in the file. That is supposed to happen when you export an OD app. I checked and we do that. Someone must have deleted the #.

That is just an option to also log the contents of a variable with the report item.

The alarm only goes to the platform when the platform is Experience Portal and not Desktop. The log click you posted is from the local report log. Also report data is "batched" when sent to the EPM. For testing try ?batchsize=1 on the App start url to force the writing of data.

From the reporting EP Expert:
“is there any specify standard report from which I can get access to the call flow report?”
The Call Flow table and graph is only available from the Application Summary report and only if they select the Summarize By
Call Flow report type on the bottom of the filter page.

Do you see the "framework" trace entries in the report output for the application? Like this:
20/02/2018 07:23:06:322 INFO - Node Entry | session id:sess4041244 | MyDemo:Start | Framework | Start | | |
20/02/2018 07:23:06:418 INFO - Node Entry| session id:sess4041244 | MyDemo:Greeting | Framework | Greeting | | | 00001128271366718383
20/02/2018 07:23:06:527 INFO - Node Entry | session id:sess4041244 | MyDemo:GetInput | Framework | GetInput | | | 00001128271366718383
20/02/2018 07:23:15:915 INFO - Node Entry | session id:sess4041244 | MyDemo:untitledAnnounce1 | Framework | untitledAnnounce1 | GetInput___utterance | hello^0.8999999761581421^0^0 | 00001128271366718383

Note the items from above are from the local report log, but you will see the "Node Entry" and "Framework" values on the platform as well.
