The below document seems to suggest otherwise.
https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101051680
The embed image option is allowed in the SMS text item in the campaign strategy.

Hi,
I am trying to embed an image in the SMS campaign strategy using the file option. I have placed the image file in the same server as POM and have tried multiple formats for the image but none work. The POMEmbedImage tag is passed as text in the SMS , there is no image embedded. Does anyone know what format the image needs to be in and what the fomat for the file path is? The documentation on this is very sparse and I cannot find any relevant forums/discussions.

Hi,
I have a SMS built in OD (7.2.3) and hosted on AEP(7.2.2)/tomcat 9. I am trying to build a SMS app that maintains a state of previous sms replies using the conversation pdc. Howeever I see the following error log after the last node in the flow:

I have verified that the conversation pdc jar file exists in the lib folder. I have also tried re-exporting the runtime support jars and hosting the app on a new tomcat. What could be the issue here? Is there any additional config on AEP?

Hi,
I am trying to build an OD SMS message channel application that can send out messages to a customer and record the responses received, potentially integrating it with POM. Is there a sample sms channel message application that shows the basic structure and functionality, that I can build my flow on? I have tried going through the documentation and the searching the forum , but I have not found any sample application or guide for SMS that shows how the SMS would be sent, received and both the messages correlated. Maybe I am missing something obvious here, would really appreciate any help. We already have SMS connectors in place on AEP (7.2).
Thanks,

Hi,
I am trying to to run and build a test email campaign. The campaign sends out an email and waits for the user reply. I am trying to read the user reply using an OD application with the POM PDC pluggable data connector.
The environment is:
AAEP 7.2.2
POM 3.1
OD 7.2.3
When the email is received by POM and my OD application is triggered I am trying to update the disposition code. But i get the following error :
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Null value of Completion Code or Session ID is not supported
at com.avaya.sce.pdc.pim.DataConnector.PimFlowNodeImpl.invokeUpdateCompletionCode(PimFlowNodeImpl.java:220)
at com.avaya.sce.pdc.pim.DataConnector.UpdateDispositionImpl.execute(UpdateDispositionImpl.java:50)
at com.avaya.sce.runtime.Data.evaluateActions(Data.java:237)
at flow.untitledData1.executeDataActions(untitledData1.java:80)
at com.avaya.sce.runtime.Data.handleRequest(Data.java:121)
at com.avaya.sce.runtime.AppServlet.processRequest(AppServlet.java:96)
at com.avaya.sce.runtime.SCEServlet.requestHandler(SCEServlet.java:247)
at com.avaya.sce.runtime.SCEServlet.doPost(SCEServlet.java:148)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:660)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:741)....
From testing it seems like this IllegalArgumentException is thrown anytime i try to use any PDC nodes from the palette.Looks like the contact data is not being passed on from the PDC connector.
Any help or input is appreciated in debugging and resolving this.

Hi,
I am trying to build an call flow in which the caller speaks out a name and the application then compares it against a database of names, retrieves the phone number and transfers the call. What grammar do i use to recognize this input and check against a set list of names? Or would this qualify as "dictation"? I am using Nuance for ASR and TTS.
