I'm using DMCC dashboard for testing purposes, Protocol Version 6.2. I get the contents of display for call alerting etc. but when I press the UUI-Info the DisplayUpdatedEvent returns an empty contentsOfDisplay. The UUI information is displayed correctly on the physical phone. Any ideas?

» Need TAPI TSP drivers to integrate avaya one x agent with our applicaion which is developed on .net, 13/11/2013 01:24:14

DEAR AVAYA SCIENTISTS,
I AM IN A BIG TROUBLE, WE NEED TO INTEGRATE AVAYA ONE X AGENT WITH OUR APPLICATION WHICH IS DEVELOPED ON .NET PROGRAMM, in our HO office we are using Avaya CM 5.2 and we can use IP Agent 7, and IP agent have bulilt in TAPI TSP drivers, threw which our developer team integrate the IP Agent with our application. and our call center agent can received the call from our application instead of ip agent tool.
But in branch office we have Avaya CM 6.2 and IP agent 7 is not compatable with CM 6.2, we are using Avaya One x Agent in branch office, here also we need the same setup of integration as i discuss above, but in Avaya one x Agent there is no in built TAPI TSP drivers becuse of this we cannot integrate our applicaiton with avaya One x Agent. below i mention the comments of one of our thirdpary support company www.trysoft.com .
"Avaya One-X Agent doesn't include built-in TAPI driver and doesn't work with AddTapi.NET. Avaya IP Agent had a built-in TAPI driver, so AddTapi.NET could work with it without any additional software.
If you're using Avaya One-X Agent, you will need to install Avaya TAPI driver (TSP) for Avaya Communication Manager on each user computer. You should have Avaya TSP on the CD that came with your Avaya Communicaton Manager. You can read more about TAPI compatibility here:
https://devconnect.avaya.com/public/dyn/d_dyn.jsp?fn=309
After Avaya TSP is installed and configured, AddTapi.NET will see user's line/extension and your application will be able to work as before."
Hope Done my question.

Hi
Question 1 : I need to know the available agents using JTAPI . I found the answer for this today in AgentView Sample code.
Question 2 : You mean the connection is done through the IP address or host name which is configured in TSAPI.PRO config file of the application ?
In the real time , where would the developed JTAPI apps be deployed , say a Jar file ?

You should bring this question to VP support. They don't run a forum, but you can contact them through http://support.avaya.com

Totally agree with DanMcGrail. Old portal was really good source of info with possibility to search. Converting OLD forum to PDF will probably lose ability to search or make it very cumbersome. Now can't get my answers, which were available in OLD forum

What is the best way to detect server connection being down and properly stop recordings monitors? Same question about restoring connection back and restoring recording monitors?
Any good example to do that?
currently I process ServiceProvider_OnServerConnectionDownEvent() event to get server down

Adam, I can't help you resolve the GenerateDigits issue but I would like to know; how are you recording the tones?
I'm recording via Single Step Conference but can't seem to get the it to record when I use GenerateDigits from the dashboard.

» TTS event showed TTSString: SSML in Session Detail Transcription, 11/11/2013 06:52:13

Hi, I'm Zhibin Yang from BB Team shift 1.
This is a call flow that have multiple languages. Using multiple TTS resources.
When it is en-us, in Session Detail Transcription, the TTS Events showed the TTS String as what it prompt, but when it comes to non-en-us language, it showed TTSString: SSML.
Everything worked well, and customer want to know if he can see this TTSString?
I made a simple test in my Lab, when I checked SSML when export, the TTSString showed SSML, but when I unchecked SSML when export, the TTSString showed what it is.(All en-US)
But I don't have a multiple languages environment and don't know how to build it.
Can someone please tell me if this issue work as designed or there is any modification to show TTSSting for non-en-us.
Thank you.

» OD SP3 licensechecktimeout new parameter, 09/11/2013 13:39:21

Hi
I've installed the SP3 package and updated OD modules with this version.
We need to use the new parameter licensechecktimeout but it was not added into ddrt.properties files after the update.
I need to know if I have to add this new parameter manualy into the properties file and also what could happend if we don't add it.
In the release notes it sais that Every application deployed on an application server MUST have this parameter and
they must all be set to the same value.
I'm not sure about the MUST due to this new parameter was not automaticaly added after the upgrade.
Thanks,
Alfredo

» GenerateDigits not generating digits with the proper tone duration or pause duration, 08/11/2013 15:00:48

Hi,
I'm executing GenerateDigits and I can hear the digits but the durations are not accurate. When recording the audio with a external device then analyzing the audio file I see that the digits and pauses are sometimes greater than what I told the switch.
For example, I have 80ms tone duration and 80ms pause duration. Some of the tones being generated are 80ms but some are as long as 100ms. Same goes for the pauses. None seem to be shorter than 80ms though. 20ms doesn't seem like a lot but when you send a 17 digit string with 80ms duration and 80ms pause it could take 660ms longer to finish than it should.
Since Avaya doesn't give me a "I'm done generating tones" event I start a timer when I get the OnGenerateDigitsResponse event to know when the tones should be done. Since the tones and pauses aren't 80ms my timer is "early" and the tones are getting cut off (because I assume it's done and put the call on hold).
Is this a known issue? Is there a percentage for error that I can code for? In testing it seems that it could be up to 25% longer than the durations I sent to the switch.
I'm using ServiceProvider 6.2.0.29.
Thanks in advance,
Adam Eurich

Hello, can anyone provide any estimates on how much time it takes to convert your customized version of the 6.2 chat SDK to use the new 6.3 chat SDK? Is it a complete redo?
Secondly, can one use the 6.2 chat SDK with an AACC 6.3?
I believe the answer to this is no, but can one use the 6.3 SDK with an AACC 6.2?
Thanks!
