We are intending to send an outbound sms from an SMS channel message application (LDA/PilotoSMS_AppSMS). For this purpose we have written a Java application that invoke “launchSMS” Web Service with a request like this:
<launchSMS xmlns="http://xml.avaya.com/ws/VPAppIntf/VoicePortal" xmlns:xsd="http://services.vp.avaya.com/xsd">
<parameters>
<xsd:appParameters/>
<xsd:applicationName>LDA/PilotoSMS_AppSMS</xsd:applicationName>
<xsd:from/>
<xsd:message>Test message</xsd:message>
<xsd:parentID/>
<xsd:requestTimeout>35000</xsd:requestTimeout>
<xsd:smsParameters/>
<xsd:to>217258</xsd:to>
<xsd:ucid/>
</parameters>
</launchSMS>
And the result appears to be OK since the WS response has a value for the parameter sessionID_returned, but the OD “PilotoSMS_AppSMS” application does not get started, and we receive this error log:
@2016-11-02 10:24:29,689||ERROR|avaya.textbrowser.IncomingRequest|VoicePortal|TP-Processor49|Error while processing request:10.110.18.41-2016307102429-5, message=host parameter is null|####
Attached to this query we send the complete trace (trace avaya.test.log).
We don’t know where to fill this “host parameter”, so we would appreciate any suggestions or advice about changes to be made to run this test successfully.
